Simon’s at Deep River Landing
In my summer playbook, there’s nothing better than a quick lunch with a view. Especially when it’s a tomato and mozzarella sammy on Simon’s famous buttery, salted baguette (nicknamed crackbread for our universal inability to stop eating it). And now you can head to the Deep River Landing and partake of said sandwich, or a number of fresh salads, soups and other classic Simon’s concoctions at their genius freight container turned take-out stand. Beer garden seating available or plop yourself down on the banks of the river and gaze at the sailboats bobbing gently on their moorings. A perfect midday mini vaca. Pass the lemonade.
