I ran over to The Hosting Company the other evening to have Dorie Greenspan sign her new book, Dorie’s Anytime Cakes, to gift to friends and family. I wrote about this charming shop when it opened earlier this year, but the holiday season is the perfect time to visit and gather gifts and inspo. 

Update your table scape with handmade plates, modern crystal goblets, and elegant glass candlesticks. One of the most beautiful menorahs I’ve seen has an integrated base that catches wax and matches. Flip through all the latest cookbooks. Create a bouquet at the flower stand. You’ll find so many excellent gift ideas at all price points AND you can have a cappuccino from the coffee bar while you shop. It’s a delightful and imaginative place.
