Wee Faerie Village 2025: Gardener’s Grove at The Flo Gris
Kids and adults alike should make time to visit the Wee Faerie Village, an annual installation at the Florence Griswold Museum. Over two dozen artist-created faerie houses sprout all over the campus, making it an excellent excursion for a glorious fall afternoon, as I did the other day. This year, the theme is Gardener’s Grove: a wee community inspired by plants. These tiny masterpieces are ingenious! Wear your faerie wings (adults do, too!), or buy a pair at the Museum Shop along with a fantastic handmade wand by Little Small and Co.
Café Flo will be serving lunch through the end of the month, or pack a picnic. There are many scenic spots by the river. Make sure to check the events schedule for faerie-inspired happenings all month long.
