Why is it that as soon as swimsuit season hits, the Shoreline bursts with irresistible food? Seems wholly unfair, but throwing caution to the wind (and throwing kaftan in my beach bag), I’ve been enjoying some summer snacks, details of which you’ll find on this list. On the healthier side, I did come away from Chester’s first Sunday Market with buckets of seasonal strawberries, snap peas, and salad fixings. This year’s market is the bomb (fresh fish, flowers, poultry, pies, pizza, mushrooms and much, much more) and I’m so glad to say good-bye to grocery stores for the next few months!

We’ve got lots of new summery things in the shop, and I hope you’ll join us for Chester Sip & Shop this Thursday night from 5 – 8pm. You’ll find parties and deals all over town, so gather your girlfriends and come visit. If you’re thinking of staying in town for dinner, reservations are an excellent idea. Details below.
