Have you seen Downton?? I begged my husband to go last night, and he’s about as interested in a costume drama as I am in bike racing, but he indulged me anyway. I agree with most of the reviews: a bit like a season of the soap opera squished into a couple of hours, but who cares? What better way to avoid the Sunday Scaries then munch a bucket of popcorn and hang out with old friends? The lavish sets and costumes are splendid on the big screen, and it’s lovely to see the quirky cast back together one last time. Loved it.
