Brief as it seems, sandwiched between our muddy spring and brisk fall, the weeks between Memorial and Labor Day are why we wait out winter. And every year we aim to take advantage of as much outdoor amusement as we can. No more trips to the grocery store; we stock the fridge from the farmers’ markets up and down the Shoreline (and find our friends there, too). Music fills the town greens, beaches, and vineyards.
