It’s the strawberries. Everyone has their summer signal and this is mine. The plan was to try out the luscious looking recipe (see below) that our dearest Dorie Greenspan sent us, but the three baskets I snapped up at Lyme Farmers’ Market didn’t even make it ’til lunch. No matter, there will be more this weekend and I just might end up with strawberry ice cream instead of supper. We’ve got plenty of summer inspiration on this list and I hope yours is off to a perfect start. love, erica
