The Dressing Room is the go-to on the Shoreline for prom, mother-of-the-bride, wedding and guest, graduation dresses, and gowns for every festivity you have on your calendar. This spot has an extensive inventory, and the second location in a historic manse in Wallingford has even more, including a bridal salon (by appointment only).

You will find that elusive frock here, with personal fitting and expert help, to the ability to special order the color and size you need (they’ve got a direct line to their vendors). The dressing rooms are private and luxe with plenty of room to twirl around, and if you need all the extras, they’re here too, from blingy gems by Annie Mame and one of our favorite jewelry designers Aquinnah to fresh (i.e., not overdone) makeup and hair in their private salon.

If my daughter ever gets married, I’ll be sporting the get-up below: a gown with pants underneath! Brilliant!
