Well, it’s taken me four years to give birth to this list! My daughter is about to graduate from American University in D.C. and I’ve spent plenty of time visiting the city. I’ll miss our mother/daughter (and sometimes father, too) weekends of discovering every corner of The District. If you’re heading down for the cherry blossoms or a weekend of museum hopping, here is my rather long and secret list of places to stay, where to eat, and what we like to see and do.
