Our favorite optical shop, The Eyeglass Lass, has moved to bigger and better digs in Olde Mistick Village, and we ran over to have a look-see. Owner Siobhan Burns was busy fitting chic new frames to a regular customer while I browsed Siobhan’s outstanding selection. All the specs here are handmade and run from kooky to classy; there is absolutely a pair to suit every face.
Siobhan is a delight to work with, and you won’t find a more enthusiastic optician whose MO is to find you the perfect pair. While the frames here look expensive, the prices are so reasonable it’s a bit of a shock, considering the quality that Siobhan insists on, sourced from the States and Europe and all made by hand.
