Mother’s Day, my favorite day of the year, is looking a little different for 2020. Normally, it’s the one day I can wrangle my husband into taking me out for brunch (he’s weirdly opposed), mimosas are called for, and great bunches of flowers, too. And let’s not forget a morsel or three of chocolate. Oh, and I’m always off duty: no cleaning, cooking, or laundry. This year we could easily do it at home with Hen & Heifer’s brilliant breakfast or Ocean House’s feast-to-go, and I’m not too worried about the rest of it.
