Right next door to Fringe in Clinton is the most spectacular Italian Food Store, and that’s exactly what it’s called. Find every gourmet goodie, from truffle powder and all shapes and sizes of gluten-free pasta (plus gluten-full, of course) to Italian sodas, coffees, and sauces. Every single thing is beautifully packaged and displayed (that stunning Panettone wrapped up in a faux silk scarf has to be the best hostess gift), and the giant dark chocolate eggs will be a thrill for Easter.

What this place is known for, however, is their handmade cannolis, filled on the spot, and I couldn’t resist. The shell is light and crisp, and my pistachio filling sprinkled with nuts was the perfect combo of creamy, crunchy, and not too sweet. Cappuccino and espresso, too. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Italy! A little gem.
