Healthy PlanEat is a new service that sells farm-fresh produce, dairy products, meats, and oysters all year long. Working together with local farms, owner Rosemary Ostfeld has launched an online platform for ordering from Cato Corner, Cold Spring, Provider, and more Connecticut farms.

Peruse the site and purchase your Brussels sprouts, fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt, arugula, chocolate milk, Cato Corner’s award-winning cheese, even fresh Fisher’s Island Oysters, and head out to your pick up point on the designated day.

Thanksgiving ordering, including egg nog (let’s start this tradition early this year), sweet potatoes, rainbow carrots, salad mix, eggs, and everything else you’ll need for the feast, must be finished by this Thursday, November 19th. Choose to pick up either in East Lyme, Middletown, Essex, or Old Lyme. It’s a brilliant idea that will help both farmers and foodies this winter.
