Sustainability and Nostalgia Meet at Mystic Fish Camp, Mystic
Posted On : July 13, 2026
The James Beard Award-Winning Executive Chef at Shipwright’s Daughter, David Standridge, and his talented team introduced this fast-casual rendition of an old-timey (yet 100% local, sustainable) fish shack late last summer. Nestled between the Whaler’s Inn and the drawbridge in downtown Mystic, this is a must-stop for any visitor, even if for a refreshing slushy Arnold Palmer or a Frosé (with Peach Schnaps and Triple Sec) and a rush of 1970’s summer camp nostalgia. We flipped for the inventive Banh Mi made with fresh local catch and a side of scrumptious Mermaid Fries dusted with dried seaweed. Seasonal salads loaded with colorful fresh and roasted veggies, Real Deal Fish Sticks, Poor Man’s Lobster Roll (made with Monkfish) and lots more.
Happy Hour every day from 6-7pm offers $5 drafts, $15 beer & burgers plus 1/2 price select snacks.
4 East Main Street, Mystic
