When in Branford, we can’t resist a stop at Taken For Granite in the Stony Creek neighborhood,  one of the original coastal gift shops on the Shoreline. Their merchandising acumen in a limited palette of whites, natural, and sea glass green makes this spot a feast for the eyes and a delight to shop. On this trip, we loved the rock-based table lamps, oversized green glass vessels, and racks of cozy clothes and scarves. I had to have yet ANOTHER striped top, this one in a stretchy French terry; a perfect transitional layer.
