Suits, Sandals & Tater Tots, 3/3/2020

A couple of weeks ago, when we planned this newsletter, we weren’t yet overly concerned about coronavirus in the U.S., “community spread,” and runs on hand sanitizer. I’m nothing if not prepared, so I filled the larder this weekend and spent more at the grocery store than I have since Hurricane Sandy. A handful of shoppers and I picked over a basket of travel-sized Purell, all that remained in the store (and apparently in town, as one woman had already scoped out Stop & Shop and Walmart). So it seems a bit of a disconnect to be sharing our annual round-up of swimwear and sandals. But we must go about our business, and this happens to be ours. We are planning a vacation in April but waiting it out for the moment, but that copper number below has my name on it. I’ll be all set for summer, and hopefully, by that time, this nightmare will be over.

Love, Erica
