I know lots of folks cringe at Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, but I’m all for getting an early start. It’s a short season, with plenty to do: parties, decorating, holiday cards, and shopping – that I enjoy it all so much more if I spread it out. Between the Girls’ Nights Out and scouting for holiday The E Lists, I’m done by early December so I don’t fall into the “holidaze overwhelm”. I know it’s no longer logical to shop for far-flung relations locally, I do save those for online (and my helpful gift guides are on the way), but with list in hand, it’s easy to knock off most of it at our upcoming Girls’ Nights. Save the dates for Essex on 11/5 and Guilford on 12/7. (Sorry, our Xfinity Night Out is sold out).
