The word that comes to mind when you meet Robin Zubretsky, the owner of RiverLane, the stunning new boutique in Essex, is spitfire. Her enthusiasm for all things Essex, the community of shops and people, and her top-to-toe thoughtful renovation of the former bank, is contagious. With a background in finance and a flair for fashion, she’s melded her passions into this elegant new addition to the town.

Robin’s mission is to provide wardrobing services to the mother, daughter, AND grandmother. When she says there is something for every age and shape, I have to agree. From posh collections like Smythe, BASH, A.L.C, L’Agence, Vilagallo (fantastic jackets), Frances Valentine (exuberant prints), and Cinq a Sept, to more affordable brands like Velvet, Nation, Bella, Splendid, Joe’s Jeans and Frame, there’s nothing like this assortment in the area.

Coming soon will be on-the-spot hemming (yay!!!), trunk shows, personal shopping, and a full shoe department (something we sorely need).
