Think Global, Eat Local New Haven, 10/3/17

Back in the day, I made reservations quicker than you could say ‘Vongerichten’ to try the newest-chicest-hot-spot. Good times. But when traveling, I wanted the opposite of fancy schmancy, seeking off the-beaten-track mom-and-pops where I could go native. I loved the simple, hearty, affordable real-people cuisine – even if it got Andrew Zimmern weird. The good news is, you can do that same exploring right off exit 47! It’s hard to find a nationality not celebrated in New Haven. We’ve pulled together the first in a series of ethnic wonders that won’t break the bank or demand reservations – or a passport for that matter. Happy Travels.
