My daughter has lived in Williamsburg for a few years now and just moved to an apartment with room enough for me! I’ve been spending a good amount of time there, and it’s the perfect juxtaposition to my rural life (yup, no bears or bobcats in Brooklyn!). We’re calling it an “experiment in intergenerational living,” but it really should be a reality TV show! Williamsburg makes for a great fall weekend getaway, with lovely hotels, shopping, restaurants, and people watching. I’ve rounded up my favorites on this list.
