I Feel Bad About My Face, A Consult at Privé Swiss

People probably imagine my days are filled with endless facials and massages, all in the name of The E List. The reality? I can barely sit still long enough for a haircut, so even my monthly salon appointment is a trial for both my stylists and me (thank you, Tyler and Terri at Timothy Pamment, for putting up with me!) My wrinkle maintenance is laughably sporadic, with a dab of Botox here and there, maybe once a year. After this dreary winter, I’m looking more wilted than refreshed. So, I decided it was time for a real change and booked a consult with a true skin savior at Privé Swiss: Luanne Hespeler, a dermatology and aesthetic medicine Physician’s Assistant.  She listened carefully to my wish to look, let’s say, a little more well-rested.

Determined to age gracefully but somewhat horrified by the mirror, I liked that Luanne recommended a relatively non-invasive treatment paired with a bit of Botox. Halo, a fractional laser, promises to tackle every item on my skin wish list: discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles, and those pesky pores. The best part? One session a year is all it takes. Sign me up! With only a day or so of hiding out at home, I was all in. I quickly booked myself in with Debbie Giannotto,  master of the laser.

So here’s the plan Luanne cooked up for me. Stay tuned—I’ll report back next month with the results!
