A Fresh Face for Spring! Timothy Pamment Salon

Timothy Pamment Salon has been under construction for months now, and they’re about to unveil their new expanded salon. The old Khaki and Black digs have been transformed to add room for more talent, facials, waxing and makeup! I love the idea of a one stop beauty shop and I’m a master multitasker. So, instead of checking your email while waiting for your hair to color, have Holly find you the perfect palette for Spring! Ellis Faas, their new make up line is a Dutch brand that beauty insiders swear by. The genius here is in the packaging. The shiny tube fits seven customized “pencils”, in a creamy, liquid form that you can smear on with your fingers. You choose how to fill it up and the end result iseverything you need to fix your face. My assortment includes a skin-matched foundation (I LOVE it), a smudgey brown shadow that goes from light to dark depending on how heavy your hand is, a perfect concealer that works as well above the eyelid as below, two lipsticks, a gloss to lighten them up and mascara. There’s even space in the cap for powder (something I’ve never figured out how to use, so I skipped it). It’s been the perfect travel partner here in Austin, because, besides cleanser and moisturizer, it’s all I need. Also new at Timothy Pamment is my favorite tinted, moisturizing BB cream, Natura Bisse (see my list of Things I’d Rather Not Live Without, here) and Kevin Aucoin’s coveted cosmetics. Check out Timothy Pamment’s new lines, and with any skincare or cosmetic purchase, The E List readers will receive a $20 Timothy Pamment Salon Gift Certificate towards any spa or cosmetic service through 3/31. Nice!
p.s. I am no makeup master, but I’ve learned a tip or two from makeup artist, Lisa Eldridge’s genius series of You Tube videos. Her “No Makeup Makeup” is more than I normally wear, but for a 15 minute investment, I learned a few tricks. Check it out here.
