While blow dry bars have elbowed their way on to many main streets, we haven’t seen one around here until this Tiffany blue jewel box of a shop opened its doors last week.  And the timing couldn’t be better. You won’t find haircuts on the menu, but if you need a last minute blow dry or up do for the holidays, here’s your answer. Choose Beach Blown (tasteful and effortless texture) or Saybrook Signature (smooth blowout with some body) or go for Tidal Wave with plenty of volume and loose curls. Blow outs are a reasonable $36, with up dos at $58. The team at Blow Dry at the Beach are happy to do kids mini-dos for dance recitals (or just for fun!) at $28.
