No matter how old you are, mid-August arrives with a certain melancholy. For me, it’s birthday week (this year, I’m stretching it to birthday month), which begins the headlong dash into back-to-school season. And after a whirlwind summer of packing in as much fun as possible, the disturbing news about Delta is giving us all pause. Lucky for us, summer on the Shoreline extends through September, and there is plenty to do outside! We’ve rounded up a list of fairs and festivals for you to add to your calendar and prolong your summer, plus a list of our favorite farm stands. Enjoy!
