Hurry, White Gate Farm in East Lyme’s got only four free range turkeys left, but the Farm Stand (pictured) is brimming with gorgeous organic autumn vegetables. Farm Stand hours: Wednesdays from 12 to 7, Saturdays from 9 – 4.
Order a free range, New Holland White turkey from Soetl Farms in Salem, purveyors of epicurean livestock, or surprise (!) your family with a stuffed goose or duck.
For the lazy among us (me) order a fresh Ekonk Hill Turkey and all the local produce you need for your feast and have it delivered to your doorstep by CT Farm Fresh Express.
