Sometimes you need to get out of Dodge, and a birthday dinner at Zinc got us to New Haven. That was all the encouragement I needed to make reservations at The Blake, the new boutique hotel on High Street (more below!). I hadn’t been to Zinc in a few years, and while it was too dark (and too many Sazeracs) for great photos, I highly recommend you revisit this gem if it’s been a while for you, too. Before New Haven became a foodie destination, there was Zinc: known for farm-to-table dining before it was a cliche. Enjoy! Erica
