Tacos, Sliders and More at Brushmill’s New Happy Hour, Chester

You probably know by now that I love an early dinner, even more so as the weather cools and daylight savings time sets in. Happily, more and more local restaurants are offering tempting Happy Hours.

The latest is The Brushmill in Chester. We love the vibe here, chic and cozy at the same time, and were thrilled to discover the extremely well-priced menu that’s on offer every weekday but Tuesday from 4 – 6 PM.

Four of us chowed down on the entire menu (!). I can’t resist a hot dog, and this one comes topped with housemade Kimchi, hoisin mustard, and crunchy garlic for $7 bucks. Even Laura (not a dawg fan) loved it! The large serving of Baba Ghanoush comes with warm pita triangles and fed the table; I’ve had the wings here before, this time a standard Buffalo variety, but I say go with the Korean BBQ or Tagarashi dry rub ($8). A tasty Soetl Farm cheeseburger is $8. A pair of chicken mole street tacos were smoky and delish. The table favorite were the braised beef sliders on mini potato rolls (we ordered seconds).
