The RiverLane in Essex has long been a haven for impeccably dressed women, and now, with last week’s debut of their men’s shop, style-conscious gents have a destination of their own. Brimming with hard-to-find labels like Vince, Theory, Frame, Rag and Bone, Marine Layer, Rails, and more, fashionable men (and their significant others) will have a heyday in this new boutique. I was impressed not only with the selection but also with the depth of the inventory. 

A full denim bar with every fit imaginable (including breezy summer-weight denim by 34 Heritage), alongside relaxed cotton blazers, a rainbow of crisp linen shirting, and a standout array of footwear: sneakers, boat shoes (which are having a moment), loafers, and woven styles all make an appearance. 

Golfers will love the impressive lineup of stylish togs for the links, featuring brands like Fairway & Greene and Rhone. The shop itself feels like the kind of place you’d want to linger—comfy club chairs, nautical art, and vintage finds that make you want to settle in with a good book or maybe a cocktail. Altogether, it brings a breath of fresh style to Essex and the Shoreline.
